Professional liability questions
What does claims-made mean?
Most E&O policies cover claims made while the policy is active. If you switch carriers or retire, ask about prior acts and tail coverage so you don’t leave a gap.
Do my client contracts require it?
Many do, with a set limit. Send Oscar the insurance section of the contract and he’ll match it.
